Jehane Thomas’s Post with her Kids

“I created this page in the hopes of raising funds to help her beautiful boys have the best childhood possible, make memories, and be comfortable.”

“Nothing will bring the boys’ mother back, but we hope that knowing how much they are loved and supported will bring some relief to her family.”

Reast intends to fund £15,000 to provide’some alleviation’ to Thomas’ family, as well as to provide Isaac and Elijah with the ‘best upbringing’ possible after the loss of their mother.

As of March 22, the fundraiser had raised £13,500 from over 750 donations.

“I am crying for a woman I have never met before,” one writes. I’m crying because I saw how wonderful she was to her friends and family, but especially to her lovely boys.”

“Reace in peace, beautiful girl.” says another.

Thomas revealed that she had been diagnosed with optic neuritis, a disorder caused by inflammation of the optic nerve, in the months preceding her death.

She filmed multiple videos of herself in the hospital over the last year, updating fans on her migraines, and she released an update about her condition two days before she died.

The content creator was seen closing her eyes while lying in a hospital bed, with the caption: “I am still waiting to go down for surgery.

“The reason they didn’t do it last week was that having fluids in me would solve the issue.

“I’ve had four liters of fluids in me and my head this morning is horrific.

“I’m just waiting to see if I can take one of my Frovatriptan before surgery because no other pain relief is taking this pressure, or if I need to ride it out and hope the surgery gives me instant relief.

“I can’t lift my head without wanting to be sick, and I’m unable to walk, I need to be wheeled everywhere. That’s how bad this pain is.”

“Six days admitted into hospital, and I’m finally home with my boys,” Thomas said in her farewell Instagram post. It’s been a particularly difficult week, both physically and mentally.

“I’ve missed these two terribly and feel like they’ve grown up a lot while I’ve been gone.”

“After sharing my experience, several of you have told me to go and speak to PALS, which I’ll be doing in the morning.

“I’m then going to email my neurologist to see what plan of action he has because I can’t live like this any longer.”

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out, but most importantly, thank you to my parents and Liam for taking over the boys and the house for me, always making sure they were taken care of,” she wrote.

“Thank you for making sure they knew mummy was okay and sending me pictures and videos to help me get through the longest days in the hospital without them.”
